Fic Meme

Snagged from Meg and others. Nothing here from my original stuff, but fanfic should suffice. Though I realized I am not a master of the one liner, but of banter which is not a part of this meme! Most of these are boring! But that's okay.

If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else -- this is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).

Warning Signs (Daniel/Janet ship)

"I play for you."

First Encounters (Gen Novel)

"I am not going to be called Marge, Sir."

Frequency (Jack/Daniel friendship fic)

They looked like tall, mutated Asgard going out to a disco.

If He Had Only Known (Sha're short story)

He taught me many things, my husband.

Partitions (Gen Novel)

Preparing for the worst, he reached over and grabbed onto his coffee table, gritting his teeth as the inevitable came.

Of Fire (Sam/Teal'c ship)

And it spoke the name, "Samantha."

Untitled (Sam/Daniel ship)

"As a Japanese scholar once told me, 'anata no ikei wo miru to totemo koufun shimasu.'"

Unspoken—working title (Gen Short Story or Novel)

Within an instant, Daniel felt the hard hands of Teal'c as they grabbed him by the neck and smashed the side of his face into the wall.

Christmas Folly (Gen short story)

But Teal'c promised himself that by the time the act of Christmas occurred, he would understand the nature of the one known as Santa Claus.
